- The free version will be limited to 10 users in May, so we need to think about options.
- No one of the attendees has a Trello option within their organisations, and we tend to switch to a procedure preparing the agenda directly here on Github as a preparation for the following meeting: the notetaker of a current meeting would also create the next meeting's page with a default agenda. Anyone can then add items in preparation to the meeting.
- Deadline for the poster abstract is May 15th, we have two meetings left until then. We should start something for next meeting. Karen has prepared a template with the requirements of the submission form and will send it out to the board's mailing list.
- What are the goals/intended outcome for people seeing the poster?
- Assume people are familiar with the background/general use of METS.
- Focusing on METS2 with the respective changes (streamlined, simplified MD structures) and reasons.
- The format of the poster is still unclear. We're talking about something more dynamic than a (paper) poster ("
- We should target for spliting the current chapters into shorter pages that are covering a single topic and easier to read.
- SAA uses templates and github pages which look nice: https://github.com/SAA-SDT/EAS-Best-Practices.
- Would be good to move into this setup. Aaron creates a separate git repo for the primer. This would also allow for a more collaborative approach than editing wiki pages on github, moving the discussions/questions currently in https://docs.google.com/document/d/1DZptyJdqrtCY8Q3Z9MA7EUHVoXedYynoLmZPnIOW3t8/edit#heading=h.z2lvolug4qpk into PRs for example.
- Aaron has been continuing on this. Dealing also with chapter 5 of the primer.
- Naming should in general use METS2... to be consistent
- We should not continue the versioning from the METS (1) profile schema.
