Reproduction:

I find an artifact on the floor right. I use it... injects blastoff and two other things that shouldn't impact it (blue hawaiian/synaptizine) , and as a result I have a permanent on/off red overlay even if the drugs out of my system. Not sure what exactly broke, but if it's relevant I took mushroom hallucinogen from eatiing a pollen sac much earlier.. and that didn't break my vision. Just strange overall.
