About The Pull Request

Things that dont fit into the below categories:

  • Added weaker X-ray to geneticists

60 instability, instead of being passive its a toggle
Whilst active it deals 2 eye damage per second, and reduces your flash defence

  • Added Genticist laser eyes

60 instability, has a magazine of 4
Each laser shot recharges 1 per 5 seconds
Each laser shot deals 5 burn damage to the head and 5 eye damage

  • Added Neko Speak

Makes you speak horribly

  • Chromosomes are now restricted to 3 per ckey from activators, and a seperate 2 from one DNA infusion
  • Added a crate for 1K that has 5 random chromosomes in it
  • (also traitors can buy them for TC)
Added mutations from TG/Bee/Yogs/Paradise

(Added from TG, not explained since they are direct copies)

  • Added Adrenaline Rush
  • Added Pyrokinesis

Bounty Edit: Pyrokinesis can have a power chromosome added to fire 2 beams instead of 1

  • Added Mending Touch

(Added from Beestation, took a lot of recoding since the code quality of 3/4 of them was genuine shit)

  • Added Overload
  • Obtainable only from Ethereal DNA, but not exclusive to it

30 instability, 40 seconds cooldown, Flashes and paralyzes everyone in a 4 tile radius for (4 / distance_to_target) seconds
Power chromosome: Increases the radius to 6 tiles

  • Added Agaricale Pores
  • Obtainable only from floran DNA, but not exclusive to it

30 instability, 1 minute cooldown, Releases a smoke cloud made up of 15u of whatever chemical is the user's blood.
The range is sqrt(15 / 2),

  • Added Strengthened Wings (Moth/Thundermoth/Bee/Weird bird thing exclusive)

15 instability, the same effect as a flight potion
Can only be added when you dont already have functional wings, if you lose your wings it cannot be removed :3

  • Added Acidic Hands
  • Obtainable from Oozeling DNA, but not exclusive to it

30 instability, 10 seconds cooldown, similar to shock-hand, but acid. A lot of acid.
Can be used on objects alongside humans, able to destroy some. 2 hits to kill a naked spaceman (blocked by clothing, of course)
Can also be used whilst handcuffed to destroy them after 6 seconds, similarly to the "biodegrade" ability of changelings but twice as slow
Obtainable via combining "Acidic Flesh" and "Radioactive", however the combined version has 50 instability (yet it works on all races)

(Added from Yogstation)

  • Added Acid Spit

20 instability, 18 seconds cooldown, Makes you able to spit acid at walls/people
Additionally functions like the changelings biodegrade ability, able to melt restrains (twice as slowly)
Cannot be found naturally, Can be purchased from a traitor uplink for 8 TC
Obtainable via combining "Chem spike" and "radioactive", however the combined version has 70 instability
Power chromosome: Makes the acid you spit stronger, and melt cuffs/lockers/straightjackets faster
Energy chromosome: Increases how fast the ability recharges

  • Added Alcohol Tolerance

10 instability, Gives you the alcohol tolerance quirk
Power chromosome: Starts having the same effect as drunken resilience aswell (stacks additivelly with that quirk)

  • Added Auto-brewery Syndrome

10 instability, Makes you naturally produce ethanol in your bloodstream
Synchronizer chromosome: Decreases the amount of ethanol you get in your blood
Power chromosome: Increases the amount of ethanol you get in your blood
Energy chromosome: Increases the chance of getting ethanol into your blood every second

  • Added Bone Densification

25 instability, 16 DIFFICULTY!!, Gives you natural 5 melee and 10 wound armor
Power chromosome: Gives you the "hardly wounded" trait aswell

  • Added Cerebral Neuroplasticity

60 instability, you take 30% less stamina damage and get stunned for 15% less
Cannot be found naturally, Obtainable via combining "clever" and "adrenaline rush"
Power chromosome: Makes you take 15% less stamina damage, and 7.5% less stun

  • Added Thick skin

30 instability, 18 DIFFICULTY!! (8 is the normal amount of missing genomes, for comparison)
Gives you natural 10 melee and bullet armor
Power chromosome: You get a 50% chance for embeddable projectiles to not embed in you.

  • Added Sap blood (Floran exclusive)

20 instability, Has the same effects as having banana pulp constantly in you, quickly getting rid of bleeding and wounds
Power chromosome: Increases how fast your biggest wound heals
Energy chromosome: Makes your bleeding dissapear even faster

  • Added Hyperactive Bone Marrow

20 instability, 12 difficulty, Makes your blood regenerate quicker at the cost of becoming hungry quicker
Synchronizer chromosome: Reduces the amount of hunger the mutation causes
Power chromosome: Makes your regenerate even more blood, at a greater hunger cost

  • Added Radproof

35 instability, Makes you fully immune to radiation, but you take 50% more toxin damage
Synchronizer chromosome: Reduces the toxin damage multiplier to 20% more toxin damage
Power chromosome: Makes you heal for 5 points of brute and burn every time you would be irradiated

  • Added Extended Shock touch

50 instability (normal shock touch is 35 for comparison), Shock touch thats usable at range
Cannot be found naturally, Obtainable via combining "shock touch" and "telekinesis"

  • Added Smile :)

0 instability, Replaces all insults you say with non-insulting words
Power chromosome: Additionally gives you a mood buff

  • Added Matter Eater

40 instability, 1 minute cooldown, Makes you able to eat anything
Eating will heal you for 15 brute damage
Items take no time to eat (If you eat a brain, you'll vomit it after 5 seconds)
Humans take 30 seconds, chomping their limbs off. You need a strangling grab if you are chomping off their head.
Turfs take 45 seconds to eat, 90 if its a reinforced wall
Synchronizer chromosome: Gives you a 50% chance to instead like food you'd normally dislike
Power chromosome: Increases the amount you heal from eating
Energy chromosome: Increases how fast the ability recharges

  • Added Automatic Respiration

30 instability, Gives you the NO_BREATH trait (self-respiration) ((Permanent oxygen tank + rapid oxy healing))

  • Added Colorblind

5 instability, Makes you color blind

  • Added Invisible Fingerprints

10 instability, Makes you leave no fingerprints (You'll still leave fibers)

  • Added Meson Visual Enhancement

20 instability, Gives you meson vision
Cannot be found naturally, Obtainable via combining "thermal vision" and "clever"

  • Added Scotopic Visual Enhancement

25 instability, Gives you night-vision
Cannot be found naturally, Obtainable via combining "thermal vision" and "Anti-glow"

  • Added Protected Cornea

30 instability, Gives you sunglasses (NOT WELDER PROOF)
Cannot be found naturally, Obtainable via combining "thermal vision" and "void magnet"

  • Added Obesity (AMERICA, HELL YEAH!!)

It makes you rapidly gain nutrition leading to permanent fatness as long as its active, thats it.

  • Added Dizzy

15 instability, Gives you dizzyness
Synchronizer chromosome: Reduces the amount of dizzyness you get
Power chromosome: Increases the amount of dizzyness you get
Energy chromosome: Increases how often you get dizzy

  • Added Horns

If you don't have horns already, you'll grow horns on your head.

  • Added Loud

"." "?" "!" get an additional "!" at the end of them, making you constantly scream

  • Added Lisp

"s" gets converted to "th"

(Added from goon (recoded))

  • Added Polycythemia (exclusive with Anemia)

15 instability, same regeneration as Hyperactive blood marrow with notable minuses
Unlike hyperactive bone marrow, you don't lose nutrition for producing the extra blood
Makes you start taking random oxygen damage the more blood you have in you (starting at 140% normal blood amount)
Synchronizer chromosome: Decreases the amount of blood you generate
Power chromosome: Increases the amount of blood you generate

  • Added Anemia (exclusive with Polycythemia)

10 instability, similar to the blood deficiency quirk but has a bit of a lower blood limit than it where the mutation stops eating blood
Synchronizer chromosome: Makes the blood shutoff limit higher, reducing the oxygen damage you get
Power chromosome: Makes the blood shutoff limit lower, making you stay at a considerable amount of oxygen damage

  • Added Tinnitus

5 instability, causes constant ringing noise like you get from flashbangs as long as you have ears. rip out your ears.

  • Added Genetic achromatopy

5 instability, makes you color blind

  • Added Protanopia

5 instability, gives you red-green color blindness

  • Added Deuteranopia

5 instability, gives you green-red color blindness

  • Added Tritanopia

5 instability, gives you blue-green color blindness

Chromsomes added to mutations / Changes to them

First off, all the mutations that had their synchronizer chromosome rights removed because it had no effect:

  • Geladikinesis
  • Cryokinesis
  • Tongue Spike
  • Tongue Chem Spike

And now mutations that had chromosomes or other effects added to them:

  • Fire breath

Obtainable via combining "Cough" and "Pyrokinesis", however the combined version has 50 instability

  • Shock touch

Can now be used whilst you're handcuffed and someone is pulling you to shock them

  • Telekinesis

Synchronizer chromosome: Hides the visual effect of the mutation
Power chromosome: Things you mark telekinetically now deal more throw damage

  • Gigantism

Power chromosome: Makes you able to naturally tackle people as if you had gorilla gloves (with doubled stamina cost)

  • Clever

Power chromosome: Makes all of your progress bars 10% faster

  • Dwarfism

Synchronizer chromosome: Removes innate dwarf's tackling and throwing penalties
Power chromosome: Makes you able to climb tables MUCH faster

  • Autotomy

Synchronizer chromosome: Reduces the mood penalty of your limbs being gone by 50%
Power chromosome: Makes you able to put limbs onto your body without surgery

  • Temperature adaptation

Synchronizer chromosome: Hides the visual effect of the mutation

  • Pressure adaptation

Synchronizer chromosome: Hides the visual effect of the mutation

  • Radioactive

Synchronizer chromosome: Hides the visual effect of the mutation

  • Tourettes

Power chromosome: Makes you yell swears at the top of your lungs instead of just saying them
Energy chromosome: Makes you swear twice as often

  • Spasmic

Synchronizer chromosome: Makes you spasm less often
Power chromosome: Makes you take 3* points of damage every time you spasm on whatever limb it triggered on
Energy chromosome: Makes you spasm twice as often

  • Fiery Sweat

Energy chromosome: Increases how often its set off

  • Internal Martyrdom

Synchronizer chromosome: Instead of exploding all your blood goes on the turf where you died, brain still gets deleted
Power chromosome: Increases the radius of the explosion

  • Chameleon

It is now deactivated when you perish, making you fully non-transparent
Power chromosome: Instead of fully revealing yourself, you now lose only a part of your transparency
Energy chromosome: Increases how fast you go invisible

  • Hulk (im sorry)

Synchronizer chromosome: Reduces how much damage you take from being cold, alongside having a higher tolerance to it
Power chromosome: Gives you natural 15 melee and 15 bullet armor
Energy chromosome: Increases how fast you can punch by a little bit

  • Transcendent Olfaction

Energy chromosome: Increases how fast the ability recharges
Power chromosome: Additionally shows you the approximate location of the target

  • Laser Eyes

Can now be made via genetics, if made that way it takes 60 instability
Power chromosome: Increases the damage you deal with your lasers
Energy chrosmosome: Increases how fast you can fire the lasers

  • Tongue Spike

Power chromosome: Increases the damage your tongue deals

  • Antennae

Synchronizer chromosome: Hides the visual effect of the mutation
Power chromosome: Gives you a random common headset key (engi, med, sci, cargo, service)

  • Mind Reading

Energy chromosome: Increases how fast the ability recharges

  • Strength

Increased instability from 0 to 25
It now increases the damage of your punches by 4
Power chromosome: Further increases the damage of your punches by 2

  • Stimmed

Increased instability from 0 to 20
Now purges reagents from your body
Power chromosome: Increases how much reagents you purge from your body

  • Acid Skin

Synchronizer chromosome: Reduces the amount of acid you are covered with
Power chromosome: Increases the amount of acid you are covered with
Energy chromosome: Increases how often acid goes onto your skin

  • Two Left Feet

Synchronizer chromosome: Reduces how often you get stunned
Power chromosome: Increases for how long you get stunned
Energy chromosome: Increases how often you get stunned

  • H.A.R.S.

Synchronizer chromosome: Reduces the damage dealt to your body upon aquiring
Power chromosome: Increases the damage dealt to your body upon aquiring

  • Geladikinesis

Power chromosome: Increases how many snow stacks you make per ability use
Energy chromosome: Increases how fast the ability recharges

  • Cryokinesis

Power chromosome: Increases how many projectiles you shoot out (2 without admin abuse)

  • Biotech compability

Power chromosome: Gives you 1 more complexity point

New traitor buyables
  • Acid Spit Mutator (8 TC)

Whilst a combined acid spit mutator has 70 instability this one has 20, Quite a good buck for your money if you dont get it erased from your DNA

  • Refined Matter Eater Mutator (6 TC)

Its just a matter eater mutator with 20 instability instead of 40. Is it worth your money?

  • Refined X-Ray Vision Mutator Box (8 TC)

Has an X-ray mutator with 40 genetic instability instead of 60, in addition to 3 oculine injectors for the side-effects.

  • Stabilized Laser Eyes Mutator Box (8 TC)

Its a box with a thermal eyes mutator in it with 40 instability instead of 60 and 3 oculine injectors.

  • Stabilizer Chromsome (2 TC)

Its a stabilizer chromosome

  • Synchronizer/Power/Energetic chromosomes (1 TC)

1 TC for each, in-game they are split up

Compiled list of genetics recipes that were added (because people keep asking and existing in-game system sucks)

(Keep in mind species-locked mutations here have higher instability when combined than gotten from a race)

  • Pyrokinesis (Cryokinesis + Fiery Sweat) ((This is a TG mutation, its original gene recipe was replaced by this))

  • X-ray Eyes (Thermal vision + Radioactive)

  • Laser Eyes (Thermal vision + Pyrokinesis)

  • Meson Vision Eyes (Thermal vision + Clever)

  • Night Vision Eyes (Thermal vision + Anti-glow)

  • Anti-Flash Eyes (Thermal vision + Void Magnet)

  • Cerebral Neuroplasticity (Clever + Adrenaline Rush)

  • Ranged Shock Touch (Shock Touch + Telekinesis)

  • Fire Breath (Pyrokinesis + Cough)

  • Acid Spit (Chem Tongue + Radioactive)

  • Acid Hands (Acid Flesh + Radioactive)

Why It's Good For The Game

Honesly, i hate genetics. So here's others quotes:

Ima real quick make it into a draft, its always gonna be fully functional despite that but as a lil safety for this to not be merged before its ready. There's a LOT of stuff to do
