Emoji selection keeps focus after selecting an emoji

• I have searched searched open and closed issues for duplicates.
• I am using Signal-Desktop as provided by the Signal team, not a 3rd-party package.

Overall summary

Issue #6720 is still not fixed for me. I'm using the official Manjaro package (couldn't find a package for Arch/Manjaro provided by the Signal team anywhere, only a Debian repository).

Steps to reproduce

1. Go to any chat.
2. Open the emoji selection menu.
3. Click an emoji, it is being pasted into the message.
4. Press the Enter button.

Expected result

The message should be sent by pressing the Enter button. Probably the emoji selection should be closed at the same time.

Actual result

The same emoji is pasted again and the emoji selection is closed when pressing the Enter button.

Thanks! I also noticed the following, which might be relevant:

The emoji selection can be closed by pressing the escape button once right after opening it.
But the escape button needs to be pressed twice to close it after having clicked an emoji.
