Description
The video.js player no longer needs a plug-in to play a "separate audio file with description." video.js has robust support for the HLS media format, which allows multiple audio streams in a single media source and provides programmatic tagging to identify an audio track as containing "main + (audio) description"; when this kind of audio track is present, video.js includes a control in the control bar that allows the user to switch between the main and the "audio described" audio tracks. (I personally contributed to some of the support for a separate audio track for audio description in video.js, as well as the support for a VTT track for text audio description, but I was by no means the only person who implemented all of it!)
