This integration of Norfair with the Robotic Operating System (ROS) was originated by a feature request from a Norfair user. The user saw the potential for Norfair's real-time multi-object tracking capabilities to be utilized within the ROS ecosystem and made the request for integration. As a result, the development team worked to make Norfair compatible with ROS, allowing developers to leverage its tracking capabilities within the ROS ecosystem. This can be particularly useful for developers working on projects that involve robotics.
This PR introduces the repository developed for this integration with ROS and a full environment running on Docker to try and learn about this package.
