First of all thanks for this project, I love it

Can you add /clear rule for cleaning messages? and authorization system if its possible

That sounds like a neat feature to add in a fork! Unfortunately I'm not looking to add new features to this version of ssh-chat at this time, the project is in maintenance mode for now.

If you do end up forking, let me know and I'd be happy to link to it.

My knowledge in the development direction is low, another developer helped me set up this project, we ran it on a DigitalOcean virtual server and we still use it, almost every day my friends and I, like we are in the Matrix movie, restart the service to clear the messages and clean it up. I once left my IP address in an internet cafe and when I got home I noticed that another user was logged into our chat, that's when I got the idea to add an authorization system and a message clearing function

There are many irc chats around us but for some reason your project captivated me, it's simple and straightforward, everything happens easily as if nothing has been done unnecessarily

If you add these two functions and release a new version, I will be very happy, I may be the only one using this project but believe me, you will make one person happy on this planet

Auth already exists. If you type ssh-chat --help, you'll see the --allowlist option which takes a path to a file containing a list of public keys who are allowed to connect.

There's also --unsafe-passphrase if you prefer that approach.

Okey, i did't know --allowlist function and its pretty good, and what about /clear function?

You'll need to add that yourself. :) If you're just trying to clear for yourself, most terminals have a keyboard shortcut for clearing the current screen.
