Hello! This project is amazing!
I tried it out to see if all features of pavuncontrol was included as a drop-in replacement and I missed this functionality.
I saw a issue about parity with pavuncontrol already closed and discussing another things.
Why latency is important?
Some Bluetooth speakers have a very high latency and people use videos with a metronome to print screen/pause when the sound is done and see the offset needed to synchronize the video and audio. (You can search for Bluetooth latency test, audio latency sync test etc on YouTube to see examples if needed)
Sometimes the offset is big like 100+ ms and watching any videos becomes painful on browser where options to sync audio is missing.
This is where latency comes in. This in pavuncontrol lets the applications using pulseaudio know the offset and the audio from videos becomes magically fixed (on Firefox etc)
Thank you for this amazing software.
This lack of latency offset option is the only reason I still need pavuncontrol when using a Bluetooth headphone on Linux.
