Dear @rrwick, you should probably set this repository to archived. GitHub just recommended this project to me as I was browsing my feed and I was surprised because I remember using the https://github.com/artic-network/Porechop fork when I last installed it on our cluster.

Hi Alan,

While archiving this repo would make it clear that Porechop is deprecated, it would also prevent users from opening new issues. And while I'm no longer maintaining the project, users still sometimes help each other in the issue threads. So for now, I'll leave it as-is and rely on the deprecation notice in the README to inform new users of its status.
