Description
The status bar has an abbreviated icon view when the full status bar text no longer fits the width of the window.
In this screenshot the status bar just collapsed to the icon view even though there would be space to display the full status text twice over:
Maybe this is related to leaving space for the progress bar and progress messages on the right hand side of the status bar. But in that case the status should only switch to the icon view while the progress bar is displayed, and switch back to the regular view afterwards.
