Installing the plugin

  1. Download the latest release of the plugin here: https://github.com/pierr3/UACPlugin

  2. Extract the DLL files int the directory of your choice, why not "<User Name>\Documents\EuroScope\Plugins" for instance?

  3. Optional but recommended Copy your ICAO_Airlines.txt file into the same director as the plugin DLL file, this will enable the plugin to display Airline callsigns

  4. Launch EuroScope with you favorite profile. Click the "Other SET" button, then "Plug-ins ...", hit "Load" and load up the plugin's DLL file, you do not need to change anything else in this window. Hit the "Close" button".

  5. The plugin is now installed, see below for more on how to use the plugin.

Updating the plugin

  1. Download the latest version of the plugin and replace the DLL file in the location of your choice.

Setting up your ASR with the plugin

In order to setup the UAC Plugin to work with EuroScope, it requires some modification of your existing ASR radar display file. Most people will be creating their UAC ASR from an existing ASR.

Creating the UAC ASR from an existing ASR

  1. Find where the ASR you want to edit is, and open it with a text editor, such as Notepad++

  2. Find the line that says DisplayTypeName:Standard ES radar screen and change it to DisplayTypeName:MUAC Radar Screen.

  3. Find the line that says DisplayTypeNeedRadarContent:1 and change it to DisplayTypeNeedRadarContent:0. Save the file and close the editor.

  4. Open up EuroScope and load the ASR file you just edited. You will now be able to load that ASR file each time you want to use the plugin, well done!

Creating the radar ASR from scratch

  1. In EuroScope click "Open SCT" then "New UAC radar display", a new ASR will be created to be used with the plugin, hide and show the elements you want in the display settings (see http://www.euroscope.hu/mediawiki/index.php?title=Display_Settings for more.

  2. Save the ASR file by clicking "Open SCT" and "Save As", place it where ever you want.

  3. You will now be able to load that ASR file each time you want to use the plugin, well done!
