Some applications bounce out of center when centered

Describe the bug
So far, i've only been able to reproduce this with Android Studio. When trying to center it with a shortcut, it sometimes gets kicked back to the side of the screen. It doesn't happen all the time but it is a very frequent occurrence.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. focus a window,
2. move focus to android studio
3. press the center shortcut

Expected behavior
The application to remain centered
