I have installed the Copilot Metrics powerbi dashboard from AppSource for my org. I've created a token that I know works when tested through the API at postman and gh cli when I attempt to configure the dashboard to use the basic authentication, it fails. Says my user doesn't have access to the enterprise, when I do get data using just the bearer token. My enterprise setup is using EMU so EntraID provides my user accounts. I did configure the organizations with SSO. However when I put this users' EMU id in as the github handle it fails in this powerbi scenario.

Is there something else I need to do or is this published app not supported for enterprises using EMU.

No, I am trying to deploy a dashboard to pull metrics from an EMU organization. We've provided the user handle in the basic authentication and the report fails, even though the token works when we query directly against the API.

@queenofcorgis this has been followed. The PAT has these permissions. It works when I directly query the API, it doesn't work when I use it in the instructions provided. The user handle is added for the user who created the PAT who is also a enterprise owner. His handle is an EMU account. Is the user handle case sensitive? As in JWILDES_emu would be different than jwildes_emu?

There shouldn't be any case sensitivity, but some followup questions/context:

• Is that the actual short code for their enterprise _emu or just a placeholder in lieu of the actual one?
• Do you have any IP Access Lists set up for their enterprise?

Transparently, this may be difficult to troubleshoot without access to more of your logs.

@queenofcorgis I certainly appreciate your help. The _emu is placeholder it's not what we use, it was for example only in this case. The reason I ask about case sensitivity is that the report is now working. The only thing I did differently was copy and paste the ID of the user who created the token direct from the browser rather than re-type it. The id was case sensitive in this instance. We don't have any IP access list setup for the enterprise either.

It's weird that I tried several times with the same token and id lower case, and it didn't work. Which is when I turned here. It's working now, and I'm not going to touch it. I'm going to close this. I appreciate the help.
