Copilot icon missing on Linux in VSCode

Previously there was a Copilot icon in the Status bar, but after clicking it a window popped up saying that the icon was moved to the top bar, and the icon simply disappeared without popping up at the top bar.

Same issue here, under Linux too, 1.271.0

• created a fresh empty vscode profile
• installed copilot extension
• icon present in the bottom bar
• click on it => popup warning it moved to the top bar
• icon vanished, nothing in the top bar

Tested the pre-release as well (1.271.1378), same issue.

Command "Show Custom Title Bar" solved the issue. At the expense of an extra title bar just to get the copilot icon, not ideal...

Update: moving from native to custom title bar in the settings gives a better layout.

But so, in short, beware moving copilot icon in the custom title bar is not ideal because it's not visible for ppl using the native OS window layout
