I possibly shouldn't get rewarded for contribs to my own repos

Just as a point of giving rewards value, I feel it's a little too generous to be rewarded for a contrib to my own project. Or maybe I'm just being to self deprecating? Anyway, just my 2 cents. Hope it's useful.

That's a really thoughtful point! It shows you care about the system being fair and not just getting something for yourself. I think it still might be okay to accept rewards on your own project.

Firstly, your work is valuable, even if it's your project, your time and effort matter. Rewards are a way of saying "thank you" for that. Accepting rewards can encourage others to contribute. It shows that everyone's work is valued, not just the project owners.
