Deno included in package please ?

when I try to install deno myself (using either the curl | sh, or npm i -g), I get this error installing from my lockfile:

error: Failed reading lockfile at '/workspace/labs/deno.lock'

Caused by:
    0: Failed upgrading lockfile to latest version. Lockfile may be corrupt
    1: Failed getting npm package info: Failed loading https://registry.npmjs.org/@ai-sdk%2fanthropic for package "@ai-sdk/anthropic"
    2: Failed loading https://registry.npmjs.org/@ai-sdk%2fanthropic for package "@ai-sdk/anthropic"
    3: error sending request for url (https://registry.npmjs.org/@ai-sdk%2fanthropic): client error (Connect): unsuccessful tunnel

given that the lockfile works on deno2 on macos, linux on the server, and github actions - this seems really odd

my entire setup is:

npm install -g deno
cd packages && deno i

I'd also be interested in support for Deno as well. My current setup script looks like this, but it's not ideal and not the recommended way to install Deno:

npm install -g deno
deno install --allow-scripts --unsafely-ignore-certificate-errors

that error might actually be because deno cannot contact the npm registry.

try it with the additions @terkelg mentioned, since the web is proxied during setup, and the certs are bogus so you have to ignore them, unless someone has a more elegant solution:

deno install --allow-scripts --unsafely-ignore-certificate-errors

Thanks for the tips - this is what I ended up doing. Updating the env variables allowed me to not update agents to talk about codex specific requirements

Unfortunately my setup only completed / ran a single task, after that I just keep getting failures for every run (perhaps due to timeout during deno i I have a workspace based project with many dependencies)

npm install -g --no-progress deno
deno install --unsafely-ignore-certificate-errors --quiet

I've run over a hundred tasks with it across about 10 different repos.

When agent tries to run tests with deno test main_test.ts, it tries to download additional files for Deno, like:

Do you know how to pre-install everything related to it?

npm install -g --no-progress deno
deno cache --unsafely-ignore-certificate-errors --reload https://deno.land/x/hono@v3.8.0/mod.ts
