Distinct Folder Icons for Team Folders in Windows Explorer #8355

Hello,

I would like to submit the following feature request: When team folders are created, they are clearly distinguishable in the Nextcloud web interface. However, when these folders are synced in Windows Explorer, they appear as ordinary folders. Would it be possible to automatically assign a different folder icon to team folders so they are more easily identifiable amongst other user folders?

For example, in this screenshot, the folders ‘Admin’, ‘Clients’, ‘Programs’ and ‘Tech’ are all team folders, each with a distinct icon to help differentiate them from personal folders: https://ibb.co/93p0V8zv

By default, team folders currently look like this: https://ibb.co/HDg9YR4f

We have found that users may occasionally mistake these team folders for their personal storage and inadvertently save private files there.

I am not certain whether this is technically feasible, but I wanted to raise the suggestion for consideration.

Windows 11, for instance, offers this folder icon which would suit team folders very well: https://ibb.co/27zxwFZC

Thank you.

Kind regards,
Arthur
