Spotify player doesn't start/Unable to play any songs

Describe the bug

A clear and concise description of what the bug is, along with your OS [eg. Windows 10]: When I want to play a song it just doesn't play, it remains stuck. I use windows 10.

@Kadri24 I would suggest you re-open this.

The actual problem is described much better compared to #599 and there are logs included here as well.

As for the issue, I am having the exact same problem. Spotify would playback for a couple of seconds and then stop. After exiting, I am no longer able to start the application.

I mean I think it's a spotify issue though, also I cannot search, cannot even play a song for a few seconds, I cannot do anything pretty much, it also takes too much to load when I open spotify, but as I've read, it might be either spotify patching this or just spotify being down.

Spotify is down at the moment. It shouldn't be a BTS issue.

Seems like the spotify server issue is fixed but on my end when I open spotify it immediately closes.

It was doing that for me too, though running the .bat file again apparently resolved that for me, if you haven't tried that already?

Re-applying the files did not work for me however once i uninstalled and freshly installed Spotify, then ran the .bat it worked again

The issue fixed itself on my side a few hours after Spotify went back up.

Today, it happened to me too. Sometimes Windows defender detects it as Trojan and removes the files, but if that's not the case, open the config.ini file and change the Block_Banner=1 to Block_Banner=0, IDK why but that stops closing the app immediately after launch.

hi, it working fine but with some glitch.
to fix this

1. kindly disable everything to 0, restart spotify
2. play some song until you hear ads.
3. close and enable everything back but enable log =1 is optional.
