Latest release is using an API incompatible with Maven 4

I noticed that the latest release triggered an issue when using this plugin with Maven 4:
dylibso/chicory#775

Unable to load the mojo 'flatten' in the plugin 'org.codehaus.mojo:flatten-maven-plugin:1.7.0' due to an API incompatibility: org.codehaus.plexus.component.repository.exception.ComponentLookupException: org.apache.maven.model.interpolation.StringVisitorModelInterpolator: method 'void <init>()' not found

I attempted to migrate this plugin to Maven 4 here but I'm having troubles with DI and I don't really know how to fix it.

This specific problem has been fixed in Maven 4 master already. It will be part of rc-3.
