This is great! One thing I'm not sure about, does this post show up somewhere in the preview build, even if not linked from the main navigation? It wasn't immediately obvious to me when I looked at https://deploy-preview-59--ml5-next-gen.netlify.app/ |
@shiffman ah yes, thanks for pointing that out! from my understanding the url is based off of the name of the folder set in the template, for example for this case you can see the blog post on the test branch here https://deploy-preview-59--ml5-next-gen.netlify.app/blog/releasing-version-1/ |
A round of edits to the blog post
I made a round of edits in a separate branch and merged them here. I believe this is ready to go, all we need are to add images to liven up the post! We could also embed the presentation rather than simply link to it. @MOQN perhaps you can help advise on best practices for finalizing this post in terms of the blog system and website design. Thanks everyone! |
Another comment is that I started linking some elements of the next to more info, for example the NYU Law School post and Code of Conduct. We could do this more throughout the post! |
Thank you for all the effort, @sharellb! The post looks great! 🎉 And thank you @shiffman for the thoughtful edits 🙏 I've updated some styles and added two (somewhat random) images. They are placeholders and can be replaced. I also updated the template key, keywords and tags so that it can appear in the Community page. |
We've collected input on a draft blog post on the topic of releasing the ml5.js library version 1.0. We'll plan to release it on the ml5.js website using the blog template example. cc @MOQN @shiffman
