Allow usage of an external provided lambda image

Allow modification and dependency upgrades of the lambda used by the module without having to modify the rest of the module.
Also, AWS lambda support for Python 3.8 is going to be deprecated in about two months . This will allow people to keep using Python 3.8 or upgrade at their own pace.
