Key events not working with input module?

Hey Marc,
thanks for the module! this is super helpful.

I'm running into an issue where when I capture a keydown event, that key will not be recorded when typing with the Input module(https://github.com/benjamindenboer/FramerInput).

Do you know why that might happen and if there's way to make this module work together with the input module?

Hey Chris,
what exact keys are you trying to listen to?

If those keys are enter/return, space, backspace, capslock or shift there's a chance that Benjamin's Input module simply interfere with my module.

But if that's the case, you can just use these methods of Benjamin's module:

	onEnterKey: (cb) -> @on(Events.EnterKey, cb)
	onSpaceKey: (cb) -> @on(Events.SpaceKey, cb)
	onBackspaceKey: (cb) -> @on(Events.BackspaceKey, cb)
	onCapsLockKey: (cb) -> @on(Events.CapsLockKey, cb)
	onShiftKey: (cb) -> @on(Events.ShiftKey, cb)
	onValueChange: (cb) -> @on(Events.ValueChange, cb)
	onInputFocus: (cb) -> @on(Events.InputFocus, cb)
	onInputBlur: (cb) -> @on(Events.InputBlur, cb)

What I was trying to do was to use "Shift + D" to toggle the visibility of a UI element, in this case the inputbox, but once I attach keyDown event to a key, the input module will ignore that key, in this case, I can't type in "d" anymore. My hunch is that the custom keyDown handler somehow hijacks the input?

Yes, that's what it does (on a Canvas-level).

Unfortunately, I can't think of an easy fix for the particular problem you've described above, hence you should probably try to implement a custom eventlistener-solution instead.

No worries man! Thanks for your help! The fact that you are replying to this issue while most attention nowadays is going to Framer X, that warms my heart.

Possibly. If you still haven't found a working solution just let me know – either here on Github or over on Slack – and I'll try my best to come up with something.
