Theme broken with hugo 146.5-1 (archlinux)

Describe the problem:

Hello, I'm using your amazing theme on my website.
Since the last hugo update, the local version is broken (I didn't change anything else).

The website builds withoout error and the html works but it seems there is not css other than /css/coder-dark.css and /scss/custom.css (when i look to the code from firefox inspection tool). The display of the website is broken.

hugo server doesn't complain nor gives any error.

Steps to reproduce:

1. install the latest hugo version (146.5-1)
2. hugo server
3. test your local site

Additionnal info

hudo Version : 0.146.5+extended+withdeploy linux/amd64
go Version : 2:1.24.2-1

Is it just me ?
How can I debug this ?

I just saw this from rom the release page of hugo 146 :

The big new thing in this release is a fully refreshed template system – simpler and much better. We're working on the updated documentation for this, but see gohugoio/hugo#13541 for some more information. We have gone to great lengths to make this as backwards compatible as possible, but make sure you test your site before going live with this new version. This version also comes with a full dependency refresh and some useful new template funcs

I might be wrong, but this commit seems to fix the problem for another theme... Hope it helps...

(My website is hosted on gitlab pages, not github). On gitlab it is compiled with hugo 140 so it's not affected by the recent changes in hugo code. I only experience on the local version with hugo 146

Hello, I looked through your repository, and I think the issue is probably caused by your layout/partials/head/theme-styles.html file.

Due to Hugo's priority mechanism, in versions below 0.145.0, that file (your version) seems wasn’t applied, and the theme-styles.html from the Code theme was used instead.

But starting from version 0.146.0, the priority mechanism seems to have changed, and now your custom theme-styles.html is being applied instead of the one from the Code theme, which is likely causing the layout to break.

If you want to keep using your custom theme-styles.html to apply custom CSS, you may need to update your code by keeping the original logic from the Code theme's theme-styles.html and adding your custom styles on top of it.

The quickest fix I found is simply deleting the custom file you created— .. and update hugo version to 0.146.0 or upper, (theme-styles.html)

but I'm not sure if that’s what you actually want.

p.s. I was debugging while listening to Markit Zero—great song, by the way!
p.s 2. i tested on hugo v0.146.5 extended. but i think it will work on every hugo 0.146.x version.

I commented out the theme-styles.html file and the site now works in local (146.5 extended) and online (140 extended). Looks like this file wasn't used at all...
