Error function not defined in SQLitePlugin.js

I tried installing cordova-sqlite-storage and cordova-sqlite-enterprise-free using cordova CLI.

And I'm getting this error in both cases, while running in Chrome Browser.

TypeError: error is not a function
at SQLitePlugin.transaction (http://localhost:8000/plugins/cordova-sqlite-storage/www/SQLitePlugin.js:114:7)

Am I missing something??

The plugin does not support the browser target. This will be documented when I get a chance.

@brodybits I'm receiving the same error occasionally when running my app. Could there be any other cause? Here's the order of messages within the console logs:

• 'new transaction is waiting for open operation'
• 'Could not open database'
• 'TypeError: error is not a function' ..

@jackroscoe please specify the platform(s) where you see these errors.

To help with further diagnosis I would need a complete, self-contained test program that reproduces your issue.

@brodybits Thanks for the fast reply. I'm building for both iOS and Android but these errors are only occurring on Android. It happens 1/10 times when the app is restarted. I haven't managed to replicate it on iOS at all.

I'll try to package up a test program with the replicable error.

@jackroscoe please raise a new issue if you have an error that can be replicated with a test program.

It would be helpful if you can also test and report whether or not you would see the same problem with Cordova-sqlite-storage (or cordova-sqlite-ext).

Also a gentle reminder that if you want to distribute an app with this version of the plugin and you do not have a commercial license, your app will fall under the GPL.
