bug: Badge does not diplay number on shortcut icon

I posted on Capawesome but they redirected to here. On the log, it seems to be working but in reality it doesn't do anything the Badge number is not displayed. It didn't work on android emulator and on my samsung device.
It looks like this library isn't maintained anymore...
