Bug description

The visual timeline that's in the expanded menu view displays my calendar using a 24-hour format instead of a 12-hour AM/PM format, as I selected within settings under the 'appearance' tab: Time format: 12-hour (AM/PM)

This may not necessarily be a bug, but rather a design choice. I just wanted to clarify and potentially suggest the addition of this functionality.

Hi @Arman0z! I'm Dosu and I’m helping the MeetingBar team.

The timeline is actually designed to respect your selected time format (12-hour or 24-hour) from the Appearance settings. However, due to how the timeline’s time formatter is implemented, it only reads your preference when the app starts. If you change the time format in settings, the timeline won’t update immediately—it will still show the previous format until you restart MeetingBar. This isn’t an intentional design choice, but rather a technical limitation with how the formatter is cached in the code. There’s no evidence of a workaround or setting to force the timeline to refresh automatically right now, but restarting the app after changing the time format should make the timeline match your preference going forward. The infrastructure is already there for the timeline to support both formats, so making this update dynamic could be a good improvement for the future.
