but on website this version is listed as supported.

Even though v8.02.53 is supported, it's still recommended to use v7.16.53, which is why it's the suggested version. If you want to use v8.02.53, do as instructed by RVX Manager. This is not a bug.

In RVX Manager, the most patch compatible version is marked as Recommended version

Spoof app version patch is deprecated in 7.16.53, so the recommended version (latest version supported by all patches) is marked as 7.16.53

These are also noted in the release notes:
