Openfire logs periodically get these error messages logged to them when the Monitoring plugin is loaded:

org.jivesoftware.util.XMLProperties - Unable to save XML properties

This seems to have started with fix #222 in version 2.3.1

When instantiating the XMLProperties instance, a constructor should be used that allows data to be persisted. See OF-2525.
