We are a student team based in Bauman Moscow State Technical University and we make AUVs and ROVs for self-development and participation in UW competitions

We are Hydronautics team from BMSTU in Moscow, Russia. We make AUVs and ROVs to participate in underwater competitions like SAUVC, MATE ROV, ASRTU.

Our projects:

  • Stingray - a ROS based framework for autonomous underwater vehicles (AUV)
  • Simulator - a simple Gazebo based AUV simulator for testing control algorithms
  • PoolsideGUI - gui for controlling ROV

Our achievements:

  • 4th place in the SAUVC 2024
  • 2nd place in the SAUVC 2022 and Innovative Design and Engineering Award!
  • 1st place in the Astrakhan underwater competition 2021!
  • 1st place in the ROV Cup of Russia 2021!
  • 1st place in the ASRTU 2019!
  • 4th place in the SAUVC 2019!
