Executing goto_word from command palette leaves editor in broken state

Summary

While in select mode and pressing leader ? and then searching for and executing goto_word it looks like it leaves select mode but leaves the handles in the text.

In the screenshot below I can go to insert mode and edit the text while all the handles are still there.

This is similar to other command palette bugs like #13097. I see this happening in normal mode as well as select mode - the mode shouldn't make a difference here.

You can execute goto_word from outside the command palette (with gw in the default keymap) to reset the jump labels.
