Rendering stopped working after 11.6 upgrade

What happened:
I upgraded Grafana to 11.6 and the plugin to 3.12.4
What you expected to happen:
I use the render plugin with an external script, but it stopped working and I was getting errors. So I checked in Grafana to see if the render link worked, and it does not. I think it has changed with the latest upgrades.
This all still works on Grafana 11.4 with the plugin ver 3.12.4

How to reproduce it (as minimally and precisely as possible):
When I click on a panel: Share -> Share Link, then in the Link Settings click on "Generate Image" I get the error:
"Failed to render panel image
An error occurred when generating the image"

Anything else we need to know?:

Environment:

• Grafana Image Renderer version: 3.12.4
• Grafana version: 11.6
• Installed plugin or remote renderer service: plugin
• OS Grafana Image Renderer is installed on:
• User OS & Browser: Debian Chrome and FF

Same here @ZIMK. Maybe related to #617 - What does the Grafana log say?
Also had to create a symlink to the correct Chromium path since the plugin binary seems to search in the wrong path:

I was able to make it work by adding &render=1 at the end of my dashboard/panel URL but it still fails when i click "Generate image".

I have added the callback URL, but it has not made any difference.
Nothing is being logged when I click on the "Generate Image" button.

An error occurred when generating the image".

You should have error logs when clicking on the button. Can you share the info you have in your network tab about the failed request? Can you also set the log level to debug to try to capture some logs:

I have just upgraded to the new version 12, but sadly the Panel Preview is still not working.

I enabled debug as you requested in /etc/grafana/grafana.ini

There is a lot of information, however nothing happens when I click the button "Generate Image". No logs at all.

Is there a separate log for the plugins?

I have upgraded to Grafana 12.0.1 and plug-in v3.12.6, I still get the same red error box above.
There is no real logs when using the GUI. However after setting logger debug for the plugin (filters = plugin.grafana-image-renderer:debug), when I use the API to get the render, I do get some logs.

The result output is just blank with "no data". It seems to render tables, just no graphs (I have a lot of pie charts).

Same error in my docker test environment. It looks like rendrer is ready, but I also don't see any request in log.
@LukeWorthy-At-OoH, can you please provide exact section and directive for enabling debug like you please?
I added ENV vars suggested in Grafana-image-renderer README but no effect.
