The listing is not to scroll, and when long lists are to evaluate all what is below the by the screen hight shown items are unreachable. Also, no way to whitelist a page or parts of any url. Hope that can be fixed.

Ok, I checked on the Windows version of Yandex, and I could see that the toolbar at the top of the popup didn't display properly. This appears to be specific to Yandex's version. Anyway I fixed that part, apparently just reordering the toolbar parts was just what was needed (Yandex had a hard time with float: right directive when it is applied to the last object of the toolbar).

I don't have OSX, so I can not test the other points. We need to have a developer with OSX for this project, so that it can be tested/debugged on a Mac. Going out to buy a Mac to test this extension would be a bit too much for me.

In v0.7.2.0 I fixed a layout problem occurring only in Yandex browser.

Also, I got rid of Bootstrap which was used in the popup matrix. Maybe that makes a difference. Can you confirm the problem is still in v0.7.2.0?

Sorry for delay Raymond. Firstly I wish you an happy new year and a healthy
and prosperous 2014.
Regarding the new version under OS X, now its not more working... See
annex. As after a fresh install it wend into the extension pull down menu
and no way to get it out there it opens only a blank window. hope
you find sometimes a solution as your extension is surely a needed one.

If we could find a developer familiart with javascript who can look at this stuff on OSX that would be key to at least have an idea where the problem is, since it worked fine on Yandex Chromium Windows. There is something specific to OSX, but it can't be something big since for the most parts it's all the same Chromium code ultimately.

I'm having the same issue on Arch Linux using Chromium Version 32.0.1700.107 (248368). The top bar is too large to view all of the titles for the boxes.

Which Desktop Environment are you using? (I want to replicate your environment using a VM).

Also, a screenshot would be very helpful, not sure I can picture what exactly is happening with a text description.

I'm currently using gnome on a fully updated Arch install. Httpsb's scrollbar allows access to the additional checkboxes, but I can't see what the titles of the checkboxes are.

When I use chromium's inspect element, and change the style attribute text size to 9px for the panehead under "div class="paneHead"../div", I can see all of the options, but this is not a permanent solution.

Thnaks for the screenshot, I see well the problem now. The complication here is that the browser decides the size of the popup. I will experiment and see what I can do. I see the text size in the popup is quite large.. Did you select "Large text" in Settings?

Ok, I see the problem. Your broswer is using fonts which are much larger than the stock fonts (did you change the fonts?). I use exactly the same screen resolution as you do, however look at the difference:

It's not just HTTPSB which has large fonts, it's true for any web page -- notice how the font size in the tabs and address field are similar, while for the page and extension (which is really a web page) are blown out of proportion.

Given that the browser dictate the size of the popup to extensions, if an installation somehow end up with font size which are too far from the stock ones, this is expected that this kind of problem will occur, and there is not much an extension can do. If I were to try to fix this to fit your scenario, I would likely create problems for the mainstream installations.

The font size in HTTPSB has been carefully set to take as much as possible horizontal space while avoiding horizontal scroll bars. So if a font size directive of "13px" ends up being unknowingly displayed at "20px", the original intended layout is likely messed up.

I am going to explore what else new in HTML5/CSS3 which could be used to adjust the font size to the viewport size. Of interest: http://css-tricks.com/viewport-sized-typography/.

To experiment, I need to reproduce the problem locally, and I haven't been able so far. I need to know what specifically was done in order to make the fonts larger than default. Ah, got it, it's the "Page zoom" value in Chromium Settings -- it also affects the rendering of extension popups. Here, the horizontal bar appears when using a page zoom of 175% or higher.

Using vw-units looks very promising. However this Chromium bug is a showstopper in order to end up with a perfectly drawn matrix. Reportedly fixed in Chromium 34.

I've attempted to change the zoom in settings but it doesn't seem to change anything for me. I've been looking into font settings in gnome and linux in general, but I'm not finding what is causing the size to become so large. The horizontal bar appearing isn't the best, but the top not being fully visible makes the extension unusable. I'll continue looking into if it's a setting somewhere in my Arch install that's throwing it off.

Closing because three month unattended. At some point other devs will have to pitch in to help in figuring why it's not working fine chromium-based browser. Actually this will be a requirement now to file such bug: it has to come with a clear diagnostic of what the problem is, and the solution.
