Thanks!, I updated the axis wght range from 275-900 to 200-900. I forgot to update the os2 weightClass. I'll make an update now.

The culprit is https://github.com/googlefonts/gftools/blob/master/bin/gftools-fix-vf-meta.py#L31. I'll make this 200.

It would be interesting to know what tests you folks have for VFs. We could then make sure we have these in Fontbakery so we don't waste your time.
