…nd GDL does not depend on the (unmaintained?) historical plplot library. Some efforts should be done now to correct plplot from its known bugs and add enhancments listed in our issues. For ease of maintainance in the future, another round of editing, aimed at simplifying the already trimmed plplot code, as well a obvious speedups, should be performed.
…ts driver code. insure build directory empty when build_gdl.sh configure is called.
