Looks good (at least for someone who doesn't know Dutch that well) — we just need one (or more) people to stand up as co-maintainer(s) and then we can go ahead with the bureaucracy and merge this./
Please resolve the merge conflict first, though :)
I would like to stand up, I know there are some Dutch people in the discord server (check the old Netherlands thread) so there may be someone from there who also would like to. |
This is using the formal translation of You, how is this with other languages? Formal Informal |
The Translator's Guide goes into more detail, but we prefer whichever formality is most appropriate for software that aims to instruct the user. (It should be noted that the user should NOT be considered as say, an esteemed customer, unlike some software I've come across before.) In the German translation at least we use the informal "du" instead of formal "Sie", and in the Chinese translation I chose to use the informal "你" over "您" as well (that's purely down to personal preference as a Southerner who dislikes formal forms ;)) |
I don't think there is a "right" form in Dutch. I've seen both but it may be better to use the informal
So I think it would be better to change it to |
I prefer the informal. |

I was looking on Github to see if searching in the scrollback was supported and also stumbled on this PR. As I'm a native Dutch speaker, I thought to give this a quick check.
Kind regards
Wim
