Ctrl+C/Ctrl+D doesn't kill frozen SSH sessions

Issue Description

Neither Ctrl+C nor Ctrl+D can be used to close frozen SSH sessions.

Reproduction Steps

1. Open Ghostty
2. SSH to a server
3. Put Mac to Sleep (e.g. close lid and wait a bit)
4. Wake up Mac
5. SSH session will hang for a while before it timeouts

In all/most other terminals you can hit Ctrl+C or Ctrl+D to kill the SSH session.
In Ghostty you need to wait for the timeout — neither Ctrl+C nor Ctrl+D can be used to kill the SSH session.

this is not a ghostty bug you cannot kill a non responsive ssh connection on any terminal without either killing the process or sending the escape builtin to ssh to quit which is ~. if ~. is not working right away there may be text in your buffer press enter and then press those keys. I do this almost every day at work so yes its not a ghostty issue

Ghostty has no clue what ctrl-c (sigint) nor ctrl-d (EOF) are your shell handles them if you can cancel any other program like cat -v just fine with ctrl-c then saying this works in other terminals is wrong
