Yes, the issue still persists if I add those lines to the config and Reload Configuration. |

You should restart font changes arent always updated by just reloading |

I own a license to Berkeley mono, I'm unable to reproduce this on macOS or Linux. If you want to email me your exact font file (ttf) I can try to reproduce it from that. Like I said, I own a license to the font, so should be fine to share it with me. |
