This uses the latest installable version of tiffviewer, which supports more types of TIFF files and contains some additional enhancements.

I suppose this can be considered a bug fix since many TIFF sub-formats could not be loaded previously, but if not, I can target dev 😅

How to test the changes?

  • I've included appropriate automated tests.
  • This is a refactoring of components with existing test coverage.
  • Instructions for manual testing are as follows:
    1. [add testing steps and prerequisites here if you didn't write automated tests covering all your changes]

Works like a charm, and also works for ome.tiff (in a rudimentary way).
