Manage over 2 TB of data

Can bbolt handle data larger than 2TB?
If I need to split the database into multiple files, will I lose ACID?

bbolt itself doesn't have limitation on the file size as long as the platform supports. It's more about performance; but we haven't tested such big size. Please share some test data if you have.

FYI. recently we added a new feature to support setting the max file size: #929

Thank you very much for the clarification.
One of the single-file libraries, kv, explicitly stated that it could handle a zettabyte file (a theoretical figure, of course). Its performance was mediocre, and its maintenance was virtually non-existent.
However, bbolt boasts impressive read performance and an active community, and it's the perfect fit for my project. I was curious to know the maximum file size.
