Michael's redacted encrypted message appeared as having been sent from an unverified device, even though all of his devices are verified to me.

Right, to reproduce this:

• verify all of sbdy's devices
• have them send a message to you in an encrypted room
• see that message
• have them redact that message
• see that message is redacted (but still has device information available)
• refresh
• see the redacted message no longer has device information, so comes up as having been sent by an unverified device
