[UX] Keep unread marker displayed

Description

The unread marker disappear entirely and too quickly (sometime the room isn't even finished to be loaded the marker is already gone). It would be nice if the marker was clearly visible when you enter the room, and then faded away but still visible for the rest of the reading.

That helps to remind when you last entered the room. It's like a bookmark remembering you where you were.

This is also a feature from Slack that I find particularly useful.

There is some heuristic in Slack though to whether or not displaying the marker it necessary. I guess it's something like "if there less than 10 unread messages in the past 10 minutes, don't show the marker".
