Description
Your use case
What would you like to do?
Today, if you create a DM with 3 or more people (e.g Alice, Bob & Charlie), it'll show up in the room list as "Bob and 2 others". It feels random as to which user is named, and finding the group DM again is a nightmare, as you can't search on Alice or Charlie in this instance to find the DM.
Instead, search should return all rooms with a "Foo and N others" name whose membership matches your search term, so if i search for Alice or Charlie it at least shows me the possible rooms (even if i can't then tell which one to look into)
Why would you like to do it?
Impossible to find group DMs either.
How would you like to achieve it?
See above.
Have you considered any alternatives?
An easier way of improving this might be to give group DMs a better name - i.e. name it after the chronologically 6 first users or something (Alice, Bob, Charlie, Dave, Emma, Fiona and 25 others) to make it less likely that you end up with a useless (Alice and 30 others) name.
