Add VS IDE support for IntermediateOutputPath in C# .csproj project files #4319

@vsfeedback

Description

@vsfeedback

Support for redirecting intermediate output files is already supported internally in .csproj files, but you currently have to add those properties manually using a text editor, and obviously, that's not very discoverable. I'd love to see the Visual Studio team add support to the IDE for this property. This would be much nicer for those of us who prefer out-of-source builds to be able to do this more easily.

Note: I'm happy to see this setting is preserved even when making other changes via the IDE.

Dang, I realize I posted this in .NET instead of Visual Studio. I don't suppose a moderator can move this to the appropriate section?

Thank you for taking the time to provide your suggestion. We will do some preliminary checks to make sure we can proceed further. You will hear from us in about a week on our next steps.
