Releases: dignifiedweb/OculusHomeIconChanger
Alpha 11
Alpha 10
Added support for generating "cover_landscape_image_large.png" so that when launching a third party app, this displays when loading. Much nicer than a "Missing image" as default. Whatever image is downloaded from Steam, that image is converted to a "Bitmap" then converted to the required output type, so in this case, PNG is encoded. The other images remain as JPG as required as well.
Alpha 9
Added support for lower resolutions than 1080P (scrollbars and maximize)
Alpha 8
New Features:
- Splash screen displayed while loading initially
- Secondary Oculus Home Drive Support added
- Customize the Images loaded from Steam for each Oculus Home Image (in .config file for now)
- "browse" buttons for each image now browse to the Oculus Home Images folder for easy swapping if one image works better than the other.
** General Bug Fixes **
- Loading errors fixed when manifest files and pairs are not found (assets and non assets .json files)
- Bugs with not identifying steam games - more care was taken to identify steam games
- Note about this: Steam titles such as "L.A. Noire The VR Case Files" can still not be identified, try editing the name as a non-VR title exists too for "L.A. Noire" PC.
Alpha 7
- Stability improvements, adding in some much needed error handling. No new features yet, still more to come.
Alpha 6
Fixed the way the app.config is read, should improve stability
Alpha 5
Fixed unhandled exception and added ability to customize the location of manifest and image file locations to whatever the user wants, even if it changes with different build versions. The error gets handled gracefully and tells user to configure app.config (OculusHomeIconChanger.exe.config)
Alpha4
Alpha 4: Legacy fix for pre-dash oculus home where folder structure was different for manifest files
Alpha 3
Fixed a problem with browsing to images manually. If you received the error before, please use this new version, it has a fix for that problem. Also, you may have an issue with that app not listing anymore, to fix those apps, go and delete the first image in each app that doesn't load, then it should bring everything back to normal. This app will generate the new image with the proper name once deleted.
Alpha2 Build
Initial build/Prototype, works with most scenarios I've tested, hopefully people experience minimal bugs. If you find a bug, please let me know on here through the issue tracker.
