As reported in #5518, the rapidjson release version 1.1.0 has problems. I have made naive attempts to use the master version from github without using the sha256sum. I have tested with ./toolchain_intel.sh and it builds rapidjson fine.
I have also used
-qto suppress the output for the unzip command.
