A PC.4 sublineage seemed to outcompete both the local divergent lineages as NA.2 and the heavy mutated JN.1.23.1 that was circulating (see #2951 ) there and keeping at bay (apparently) both LP.8.1 and LF.7.71 reaching a stunning 60% in the most recent samples (Caveat: small sample size only 21 sequences)
