How much demand is there for this? I've been running 'baremetal' Immich in an LXC for several months now and it has been solid, but the installation is pretty involved. It's based on this repo, which I made a fork of so I could install the OpenVINO version, to get ML and hardware accel with an Intel iGPU (could not get my NVIDIA GPU to work and the iGPU is more efficient anyway).

If there is enough interest in a totally non-Docker version then I can have a try at adapting the scripts to Helper Script versions.

You can push it to VED so we can look at it. If its too complicated to maintain or prone to break, better not to mess with it

The immich script is ready for testing:

Change the machine-learning URL to http://localhost:3003 after installation
GPU acceleration is not enabled for this installation

Note: This is not in the official repo yet—it's just a dev version! After merging into ProxmoxVE, it will need to be recreated.
