Description
Summary
Nearby
tab is unusable in 5.3.0 release, because of GPS location showing huge errors and not updating (when moving and/or pressing GPS button). Could also lead to wrong uploads (I've nearly uploaded wrong church with it).
Note that is on device without GooglePlay stuff on it (i.e. without GMS) and with F-droid build, which could be related in such issues.
The same device with F-droid Commons app build from few months back worked without issues there, so it likely could be recent regression
Steps to reproduce
- have device without GMS and F-droid build 5.3.0
- open the "Nearby" tab
- notice the GPS error circle is huge (diameter bigger than 1km)
- move around
- notice the GPS did not move at all
- swipe the Commons app out of recents apps and restart it
- notice the GPS position is now changed to correct place, but it still claims huge error circle
Expected behaviour
the error would be minimal i.e. few meters (as it is in other apps on the same device, e.g. OsmAnd and StreetComplete)
Actual behaviour
the error is incredibly huge and GPS functionality is unusable in Commons app Nearby tab

Additionally, interestingly when you zoom out, "error circle" disappears from display (which doesn't make sense, it should be just shown smaller), but still it doesn't work.
