Idea Pattern: sympathy, not simplification

Probably a mishmash of existing patterns, but I was struck at the 2014 CFA Summit by how different groups presented their work either as:

• we reduced the complexity to make it simpler (tautology much?)

And:

• we changed the process because it was disrespectful to those involved.
