Not sure if this would help but i just thought that if the less files where pre compiled and minified and the javascript files where minified wouldn't this speed up the load time of brackets? I thought of this because of smaller file size means it would load quicker. Just a thought though.

@VizuaaLOG Thanks for the suggestion. Yes, that (and possibly file concatenation) will speed things up. Pull request adobe/brackets#5776 is currently being reviewed to figure out how these all best fit in with Brackets.
